Ok talked to my metal guy and ordered a
01 2"x18"x5/32"
Should be in by the end of the week.

As for files i got.
1. 12" mill bastard double cut
1. 10" single cut
1. 12" smooth cut ( hope that means its a finishing file lol )
and some sandpaper 100,200,400, and 800 grit. Will be getting more as i need it.

Will be posting pics when i get it all in.

Looks like a good start.
A chain saw file gives a nice round transition from the ricasso to the bevel. (and not expensive)
Don't file all the way up to where you want the line to go.
Finish the bevel after filing with draw filing before you hit the sandpaper.
And don't forget to enjoy what you're doing

One thing you want to make sure to when buying both sandpaper and files is that they are high quality. I have experience with 3m, Norton, and Rhynowet (ordered from supergrit) and I have to say rhinowet kicks butt. Good luck BTW
