ok, now a burner question

This is a pic of the style of burner I've decided on.

I was told here that I would still need a regulator and should use a ball valve.

Since ya'll have been so kind to me, I though I'd get your folk's opinion on this.

I run a regulator off the tank and send 10#s down hard line to a regulator where I drop to about 4#s just before the line to the gas needle valve.

Mine looks similar to Karl's except the ball valve is closer to the propane tank for emergency shut-off and I have a needle valve after the regulator to adjust gas flow.

Runs like a champ.

I must be missing something here.

I just can't grasp what you're talking about in relation to the images.

I know the ball valve is the one with the lever but I don't see the regulator. maybe you could point it out to me. (Sorry, really new to this)

If I get this through my head, Karl, could you give me a parts list of what you used for yours? Yours seems better than the one I was looking to build anyway.
