OK...Sebenza Fans...Help me out!

You stated you wanted a Sebby for duty carry. I carried a large Clasic with Madagascar Rosewood inlays for years and never had a problem. Our duty pants had the cargo pockets on the thigh and I carried it there with the pocket flap over it. Had a many of physical confrontations, a number of which invovled rolling around on the ground. The pocket flap protected the Sebby and it never got a scratch.

I carry mine on duty and actually had it come out of my pocket accidentally for the first time while getting out of the pumper today.I don't know what it caught on, but I felt it come out. Luckily, it landed between the base of the seatbelt and the seat, so it was in plain view. Still, I think I'm gonna go back to a less pricey knife for duty carry.

As soon as I had my first CRK I kept getting recurring impulses to sell all my other knives; SOG, Kershaw, Cold Steel, CRKT, whatever...
And while I never quite manage to do this, these days it's a rare knife to draw my wallet that isn't a CRK. Those folks certainly know what they're doing.

I say go for it. I used to have lots of custom knives (Mayo, Lambert, Lightfoot, JW Smith, Hinderer, Tighe, Obenauf, and many more). I now only have a small Sebenza and I don't really feel like I'm missing out on anything. It's by far my favorite knife overall. The pocket clip is great, the blade always works smooth without ever getting loose, and it just feels right. All my customs were pretty nice, but the Sebenza has a few features that others knives just don't have and I like them (pivot bushing, pocket clip with the second dimple in it).
