In the picture we have a mobile phone, a Petzel headlamp, a leatherman surge and my keychain with a LED-lamp, LM squirt S4 and a Face Shield. The Face Shield is a piece of membrane that can be used during CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation) in order to shield against infections and body fluids. Since I work with psyciatric care the LMS4 is a perfect rescue tool for suicidal patients. The S4 is the sidekick since the Surge is left at home during work or on trips to the pub.

A Leatherman Blast w/ Bit kit, a MiniMag AA with a 3 LED Sandwich from the Sandwich Shoppe and a Fisher space pen all in a Rip Off Holster.

I carry a leatherman blast + mini maglite with TLE-5 upgrade + and for a pocket knife I carry a gerber paraframe 1 or a smith & wesson swat serrated...it varies on what job is at hand!

Usually it's a Vic Spirit and a Spyderco Native. I'll carry my Surge if I anticipate heavy use, but now that the honeymoon phase is over, the Surge really is too much of a brick for ordinary edc. The Spirit is ideal to me except for that goofy knife blade (hence, the Native).

I have a sak Outrider coming in the mail, which I'm going to try as a compromise between a folder and a multi tool for when I want to carry just one thing.

I've had Leatherman tools for years, I usually have my LM mini on my belt at all times, my good old original LM lives in it's battered leather pouch in my
"bail-out-bag" in my vehicle.

My SOG multi-tool is with my PPE at work, it comes in handy almost DAILY!

For a beater tool I have a Gerber tool in my fireline pack, it too comes in very handy in many situations.

I think four multi-tools is sufficient for now, the LAST thing I need is another darn addiction!;)

I'm usually carrying my Juice Pro for EDC. At work I carry a seperate pouch on my side that has a Charge XTi in it. I'm a tech and I've found that a full-size multi is best for work (plus the environment is dirty; one reason I have a multi for work and another for EDC). The Juice Pro is just outstanding considering the functionality to size ratio, so it's my EDC.

For backup? More than anything else I carry a Benchmade model 558 (mini-RSK). I love the knife, and I would carry it more, but work restricts blades to 2.5" and so does the P.O. and apparently (though wording is vague) the nearby city of Chicago does as well. More often than not the only knives I have with me are the ones on my Juice. From a functionality standpoint and for my needs, this probably isn't a big deal, because the blades on my Juice Pro are probably adequate. I think the main reason I like to carry the mini-RSK is simply because I like the knife. Although, it is nice having a higher-grade steel (S30V) knife with me, plus it provides redundancy. I recently picked up a Benchmade original Benchmite which is 154 CM and small enough that I don't have to worry about length restrictions.
