OK what am I missing?

Michael, I've loved that top one since DDR (Doctor Drool) sent me his drawings of it. As far as great grinds or stag on a bali, sorry it just doesn't do anything for me. :(

Here's a scan I did of my newest addition.

I think you need to get a Spyderco Stag Handle Spyderkey. One came up on ebay a few weeks ago. I think it went for $110. They are hard to come by.

Nice knives.

Hey Phil there is a GAPING hole in your collection! I don't see anything like the "Klingon Bird of Prey Knife" or "the Death Claw of Zeetar". And I don't see anything from the Franklin Mint. Come on now Phil, a collection without those classics is just not complete.!Seriously though, that sure is a gorgeous set of blades. I wish I could do pics because I have a couple of Condors with some reaaly nice stag that I know you would appreciate.

phantom, what exactly is a Condor? I know you can't post a pic, but can you give me a hint?

Wally, I saw those knives from Bruce, and one of them in stag would be cool. Bruce is on my short list of makers I want a knife from, but all of my purchases are on hold. :(

However, a man is never poor if he has frineds, and I have some Pips. There have been some new additions to my stag collection. First was a three piece Wostenholm carving set with stag handles from SamHell AKA JamesD, which I'll be using to carve the Thanksgiving pigeon. ;)

And today I get a package from Max Burnett, he sent me a copy of a video of Bob Ogg making a slipjoint folder, and in the box was a Bob Ogg folder in stag. Don't ask me why, but it may have something to do with the pics I played with in PhotoShop of them. ;)

I'd love to post a pic of these gifts, but my scanner crapped out. :(

Oh well, I still have more knives. :D

Friends mean more than anything. and you got a bunch ;)
Lookin forward to seeing you at the "opening bell"

Hi Phil, Condor was a production knife company started by a guy named Phil Hoffman. He was the founder of Lakota knives and after he sold Lakota he started Condor. The knives were made in Seki. They came with three types of handle material that I know of. The most common was zytel, then gray micarta and stag. They made a range of fixed blades and folders. The stag ones that I have are all folders. I thought that were very nice knives for the price. I don't know if their marketing was bad or what but they did not seem to widely available. Hoffman eventually sold Condor to Blackjack but they really did not do much with them before they went belly up.

Well, the Chute knife and the Dagger from my original post here had to be canceled as well as two other customs I had in the works, but I'm glad to say the newest addition to my Stag Collection showed up on Friday at NYCKS with Andy Prisco of ATC.

This is a Bobby Branton Model #2 Boot Knife in Stag, with ATS-34 mirror polished 4 1/2" blade. Fit & Finish is great and I wish I could post a pic of it. For a more info on this knife please look at my thread on the Custom Forum.

As far as knives go I think I'm done for this year, but it's been a great year with all things considered.

Thanks to my friends and everyone that took the time to look here.
