OK, why did it sit so long?

My buddy was so ticked after he saw that got ate up. Sent him a link to it when it was again newly listed for only $425 but another hog beat him to the punch. Nice score for sure dude.
 
For any of you guys who were interested it's on the trade forum now. Awesome knife but not what I'm looking for unfortunately.
