OK you Sypdie Guys, need your Opinions.

I didn’t see what kind of knife the Para was until a few days after I had one (after I started to use it). Now it’s the ONLY knife I have that can compete with my Sebbenza for pocket time.

I agree with the Para recommendation. I personally perfer the S30V over the D2 but you can't go wrong with either.

Man o' Man...all you guys are coming out strong for the Para...gotta be something very good about it.

The Para is a great choice!

Hey Flatlander.. not to change the subject, but how's your Buck Vantage Pro workin out for you? (I think I remember you posting a few threads about it over in the Buck forums. Or maybe it was general.)

Hey Jake,

It's great...clipped in my back pocket right now. My Vantage Pro is a champ. I highly recomend it. But Spydies do interest me as do BM's and Lone Wolf's. What can I say, I like quality folders.

Hi, I notice you mention liking VG10, if you like a knife that will stay sharp for ever, may I reco something like a Serrated Rescue, maybe a SE waved delica. I absolutely LOVE my VG10 Flat Ground knives, but nothing seems to get stuff done without touch ups like my se spydies (minus flat ground se). I have showed many people my rescue as a edc and they look at is as if its not practical, I say to them, own and USE it, then let me know what you think. It may not have a tip, oh well, never stopped me from splitting matter to the fullest.

The good thing about choosing between spydies, its a WIN WIN anyway you go. Best luck to your search.

Talking about serrated VG-10, a while back I bought the Yin and Yang. I can't remember which is which but I gave my mother the one with the regular edge and I kept the one with the serrated edge. Absolutely, wonderful kitchen knife. My wife loves it and uses it constantly. I recently went looking for the version I gave mother and found out they've been canceled. Uuuggghhhh. That was disappointing.

My Persistance came in today. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love the size and feel of it. Locks up tight and solid. If you like the Tenacious you'll love this one. Very high quality piece.
I'll try to posting some pictures of it and the Tenacious.

I second what dericdesmond is saying about the rescue knives. I've been carrying my 79mm for the last month and a bit and it has forced everything else out of my pocket, thin ,light, comfortable, cheap and a mean slicer cant ask for anything more. In regards to the lack of a tip i find that the very last small serration fills in well for most functions that i would use a tip for.

I'll second The Deacon's choice.....that would be the Stretch II. Mostly for all the reasons he already mentioned....Doc:D
