Ok you watch guys!

I wear it daily and it lies flat on the night table when not in use. Is there a better position?

I will keep my smart aleck comments to myself. That was too easy a straight line to feed to me. ;)

Every watch is different. There is no "best" position.

A mechanical watch will run at a different rate in different positions. A favorite watch wnut trick is to find out the position performance of your watch and adjust it by putting it in the right position overnight to compensate for the way it runs when you wear it. You might have to put it in a different position for every third night, or something like that, but if you figure it out you can probably avoid ever having to reset it. It's the kind of thing watch wnuts enjoy.... :D

Alright, I just adjusted my time piece. After one month and 17 days it was only 7 minutes fast. Not too bad I guess. :D

I used to have a Sears self winder, early 70s. Consistantly about 1 minute per week fast. One week I was breaking us some adobe clay soil with a jack hammer. Forgot to take the watch off. Still ran about 1 minute fast per week. Great watch.
