Here is a Mike Okamura drop point hunter with an integral single guard. Spalted and stabilized burl handle slabs, white liners, maker made mosaic pins, and the steel is D2. Nicest leather sheath I've ever owned also made by the maker. It is a nice tight fit. Mike makes all of his knives by hand using files and hand drills, sandpaper, and lots of elbow grease
This knife has a 4" blade and 5" handle, non tapered tang, 3/16" thick with a rounded spine. No sharp edges except where it should be, kind of like a nicely de-horned handgun, feels good in the hand kind of like a bar of soap. Rc is right around 60 and is razor sharp. Finish is near mirror polish and gorgeous. No orange peel effect on the blade. By far the nicest hunter I've owned bar none. Oh yea the blade has a nice high hollow grind which when done correctly, as this is, just might be favorite all around blade grind. SOLD
