That is what I do - except that I carry it in my rear pocket instead of left front. I remove the clip, replace it with one of the pocket clip inserts (which fills the hole left by clip removal) and then slide it into my pouch (the "slip sheath", not the "belt sheath"). The pouch is great and breaks in quickly and easily. To each his/her own, but that is my choice of carry. Also more comfortable to use without the clip.

Same thing happens to me every year or two with my Sebenza. I'd love to see clip options.
