Okay. I give. I bought a Peanut.

The Peanuts are flying off the shelves!

The Case Peanut is like apple pie and baseball...
"Peanuts! Get your Peanuts here!"

I know what you mean ranch, I'm trying to get hold of a bone handled CV case peanut but it seems they've gone extinct!

Got it! Thanks again ranchman!

Cute little bugger!

Snippy,

Awesome! Congrats on your yella 'Nut! Mine Peanut is a permanent 24/7 companion. Whatever I'm carrying, the Peanut is always one of them, no exceptions.

Been reading the Cult of the Peanut thread for a while now; ran up the white flag today and bought one from the hardware store to try out (I imagine I will take it along as a supplemental knife in my watch pocket). OH

So much Peanut joy in this thread :)

Stopped at the neighbors' and picked up the package they rescued off my doorstep the other day. Little yellow 'nut has a new home!

Peanut is the only knife I carry when I'm in nyc.

I mainly carry a 2-inch bladed Gerber LST. It doesn't scare the Sheeple. Plus, it can't be wrist-flicked open in that idiotic manner NYPD officers use to see if a knife violates the current ridiculous interpretation of the incredibly vague Sullivan Act that bans gravity knives. (Nevermind the fact that actual gravity knives don't require inertia or wrist flicking.)

I can't believe how dark and rich that chestnut got. Maybe mine will take on that nice color.

Thanks. Although the lighting enhances the color a bit, she has darkened considerably in the 9 + months I have carried her. I believe it was Pete who said this would happen.

Patina'ed and sharpened the 'Nut

Today is my first day to edc a pea!

:)

I wish the secondary blade was larger, but I'm sure there is some wisdom in having the pen blade that I have yet to uncover.

I wish the secondary blade was larger, but I'm sure there is some wisdom in having the pen blade that I have yet to uncover.

I found the secondary pen blade to be a great plastic blister package opener, mail opener, pipe bowl reamer, and general poking tool to save the main edge.

I now see the wisdom in the Pen blade! I used it to open plastic blister pack and the control is fantastic compared to a longer blade, and my wife had some thread tangled up in the hinges of her eyeglasses and I got in there with surgical precision.

Then I lost my peanut. Slipped out of my pocket while getting out of the car. I knew that I was hooked when a sense of panic set in to find my Nut!

I drove back to all the places that I had just been and nothing. I almost got a tear in my eye and decided that it just wasn't meant to be for me. I went to the package store and picked up a four pack of Boddingtons Pub Ale to drown my misery of being such a poor guardian of such a great little friend. We met, fell in love, and then it ended all within 24 hours.

Then, I remembered that I also stopped at the end of my driveway to get the mail - so I looked around and what did I find? PEANUT!!!

My heart lifted as I felt for road damage - just a tiny little nick on one of the bolsters! That little nick is now my reminder to love, cherish, and protect my peanut from this day forth.

I still had 2 Boddingtons! :)

Now just remember to shove that loosely wadded up bandana down on top of the nut to keep it from wandering off.

Snippy,

OMG I was having heart palpitations as I read of the lost of your little Buddy, only to cheer with joy to hear you recovered it! :)

Hearing Ashford & Simpsons "Reunited" at the moment. Glad all is well!
