Okay, now post your LAST 3 knife purchases.

Another 3...

>Dozier Ranger Upgraded Micarta w/ Wilderness sheath. Unsure of model number...Seen as KM 13 & also KM 19 (Anyone know which?)... 6.5 inch D2 blade, with a partially sharpened top edge. ..."That's not a knife, THIS is a knife!" LOL :D
>Snody Facilitator BG42 necker. Big but low profile.
>J & J Graham Blue/ Black Carbon fibre s30v Pocket Khkri fixed blade. Nice small fixed blade. Handy. Cool lookin' handle!

Awaiting a Krein TK1 necker

Thanks jujigatame! :) I do like this tiny folder from him. I will definitely add him to my 'find more from' wish list.
How's that RJM Kozuka? Me likey! On the other end of the size chart, I ordered one of those Jimmy Lile inspired Robertson Vanguard 'Black Bird' Rambo-style hollow handle survival knives being made by RJ Martin. Can't wait to see it later this fall. :)

BTW love my new Snody Hybrid Resistor. That's 1 badazz folder. :D

Jaxx:cool:

Emersom Legriffe
Microtech Amphibian
Benchmade 42 (pocket clip)

Pretty sure about this, but it's been a long time since I've bought anything other than this Emerson. Or at least it seems like a long time.)

An Ulster 81P jack w/ pearl handles (not sure if MOP as I haven't got it yet).
A Ulster 183Y jack, yellow handles new in original plastic sleeve & box.
A Craftsman version of a Schrade 8OT, new in plastic tube.

All three are ebay purchases & I haven't received them yet.

I've tasted the expensive end of the market, now I'm going cheap:

vic Harvester SAK
no. 6 Opinel
Myerco Lightweight Folder

  • Spyderco ZDP Calypso : Crazy sharp and one of my favorite Spyderco designs.
  • Spyderco Temperance FB : couldn't pass it up at the clearance price from the spyderco factory store.
  • Last but definitely not least: Darrel Ralph GR Mad Maxx III with 4" spearpoint, DLC handle, satin s30v blade, hyperstep III. It is a beautiful beast of a knife. The wait was definitely worth it.

Two weeks later and received a few more blades to add to my collection:

Chris Reeve plain Large Classic Sebenza
Chris Reeve small Classic Sebenza with micarta inlays
Chris Reeve Shadow III

I've gotten my fill for now on my Chris Reeve blades...for now.

I haven't bought anything in the last few months. My most recent acquisitions are a Leafstorm and a Folding Mini by Kevin Wilkins, and I have one of his Ghost Dog Pups on order.

For me:

3 Buck-Striders 889. (2 in black and one brown)

This because of the stop "Buck<-->Strider"

Fine knives for little money :-)

Benchmade Mini-Skirmish (S30V blade)
Kershaw Leek (440A for letter opening)
Benchmade 910 Stryker (154CM blade)
--->almost forgot: 5 year backordered Randall Diver's Knife
On the wish list:
Kershaw speed bump w/blue handle
Brad Duncan Whiplash
Stan Fujisaka custom gentleman's folder
DDR Apogee (to replace the one I sold like an idiot)

Microtech Socom,Benchmade activator,and Strider.

1) Byrd Cara Cara Folder
2) Buck Mayo Hilo
3) Ka-Bar Dozier Folder

I like all three but I don't find the Stainless Steel Handle of the Cara Cara appealing. I think I should have waited for the G2 version. The Titanium Nitride coating on the Buck Mayo feels tackier and provides a better grip (for me that is).

Yesterday I ordered the Strider MARSOC SMF Digicam Black handle from Plaza Cutlery. Shoud be here about Wed. I think this is it for a while...yeh, right.
Last Three: Tomcat 3, Ka Bar Mule (Black Tanto Serrated), Strider SMF MARSOC.

Nikons are calling....time to buy more Nikkors.....
