Okay, so if the BM Stryker was introduced brand new today...

I really like the 910 series. I have an older 910SCG and this knife has the best lockup of any in the collection. Quiet and very smooth. The SCG is also a little lighter in my hand compared to the 910HSSR with the full V-grind.

But both lockup perfectly and are a joy to work with. I've been finding lately I prefer the M2 V-ground blade over the SCG. It just cuts better for me.

I also have an early 970 and one of Ernie's '99 CQC-7B CN models, and have fun comparing the two. Both look alike but are very different knives. I'm pleased to have both, but like the 970's fit and finish a little better.

Yesterday I received in the mail a lightly used Benchmade 750, this with the titanium frame-lock design. Carrying this with me today, I'd probably take it with me into the wild 'yonder', if I had a choice of only one knife. Tough as nails.

Despite all that, I really like my M2 Stryker. I'll have to wait and see what the 912/913's look like, and offer as compared to what I already have.

Boy, the last D2 versions of the 910 knife sure have disappeared off the market! Funny thing, that!

i wouldnt use a knife for SD with a bad lock, send it in to BM for adjustment or get something else to use for SD, imho anyway.
Well I'd never use the blade. I'd use it as a thumper

(We had an old lady in the eastern states get charged because a crook fell through her roof and landed on a kitchen knife, courts ruled that she should have put it away.)WTF!!!

I've had an incident previously with my M16 that involved a hammer fist coming down on the collar bone followed by a square punch to the jaw. He was a little dazed but still keen until I flipped the blade and told him to fuck off.

The only time I've been confonted with a knife in my hand and hopefully the last
