Okay, some of y'all asked for it. Pix of me & rollator

Good pictures! Looks like a nice zoo. I'd like to see those otters. Don't think I've ever seen an otter "in person" before. The zoo here doesn't have them even though they've got polar bears and African animals and everything else. You'd think otters would be easier to get.

Jeb, those are handmade from porcupine and deer hair. A good one is really big bucks!
I gave $275.00 for mine, which is a fairly nice one, sans Eagle Feather which you won't be allowed to have.
It costs a lot of money to be an ndn!

Has the roach head dress kits, among other things The deluxe model is $88.00!
You might consider Crazy Crow as The Any Tribe Craft and Supply Store!!!! :D
I admire the folks who can make a really nice porky head dress! It is an aquired skill and people who can make the really nice ones are very much in demand.
But all really good ndn craftspeople are very much in demand, it's just that there isn't that many that can make the really special porky head dresses.:(

The link below takes you to the porky roach page. There are links from there on the care and shaping of your roach head dress that are excellent.

Went to the Dr this afternoon to get an adjustment on the diuretics and weighed in at 266!!!! I'm betting I have more than 10 pounds of water retention right now the way I'm swollen. Taking extra diuretics to get it off starting this afternoon.
I'll be down in a couple, three days if the diuretics work like they're s'possed too.:D

What you really need is a strong bar or plate across the bottom for your feet so you can stand on it and build up some good speed on the downhill sections. :D

And a little 6 HP engine for speed uphill. :D

You look like a Good Soul, Yvsa.

I could see this starting an entire series: Yvsa at the beach, Yvsa squeezing the tomatos at the vegitable section in the supermarket, Yvsa waits in line for stamps at the PO....

Yvsa on the crapper?

LMRRAO! Actually I tried sorta riding it downhill the other day. I turned it around backwards and set on the seat while keeping my feet down. Good thing I did too as the rollator wants to go in circles from that position, don't know how it would be if I rode it setting like you're s'possed too and going downhill backwards.;)

But Tom that would be defeating the purpose now wouldn't it?;)
Maybe the MonSter Garage could turn my rollator into a Monster Machine?:D
To hell with a little 6 hp engine! Give me a MonSter V-8!!!!:D

Seriously I need to walk up more hills. There's a couple of fairly good ones at the zoo that I couldn't make it up without resting when I first started but I can now!:D
They almost do me in and hurt like hell for a while but I keep on keeping on just for spite. I keep improving.:D

Thank you my friend. Some have told me that I'm an Old Soul. If that be so I hope that this is my last trip around. I'm tired and looking forward to the journey Home. When the Great Mystery determines it is time that is.:D

As to the series:
Methinks that the crapper is taking it a tad too far Munk. We wouldn't want people laughing with fear and throwing up in disgust now would we? ;)

What's in the cart? :)
On this particular day there was a couple of bottles of lemonade that Barb makes special for me, a bottle of water for Barb, a couple of apples, a Fuji and a Braeburn, (Love them Braeburn Apples!!!!), my water cup from Quik-Trip, a few pieces of bread in some form or another for the turtles and fish when we cross the bridge into the zoo, and the cell phone. Also the dig camera on the way out.:D ;)
It varies a little each time we go, but not by much.:)

This rollator has a really large basket on it!!!!:D

I remember when I was young that a local ndn woman came to the elementary school and showed us some items made from porcupine quills. I remember they had to be soaked to become pliable, and beadwork was added in. There are quite a few Huron here and I apologize if from time to time, this stoopid white boy gets mixed up (like with the "s" word). I have always enjoyed learning ndn culture, and I had some ancient books that my dad gave me. I read them constantly when I was little.

I am very familiar with Crazy Crow. I have spent many hours eyeing their linen hunting shirts and tomahawks.

There are many pokey pigs roaming our woods, eating my deer antler sheds  , and messing up trees. I also worry about my dogs getting quilled, and its commom for me to carry some field points during archery season, just for them. Next time ill see if I can make something, probally not. If you read any stories about anybody dying of major blood loss and tiny stab wounds, youll know what happened.

Tell the Federalists what? :D
Brian, I would edit that out as well. Regretfully you have to be careful of what you put in a public place.
Your finger is gonna be worn out ifen ya keep this up! :p :D ;)

Porky quill work is beautiful and well done porky quill work is beyond beautiful. Like beadwork I don't have the patience for quillwork either.
It's cost me a Flute or three to get the things done I have to trade for.;)

Grteat stuff! You named two of my three top apples, which is my fave fruit. For a change, I like the tart and crisp Granny Smiths.

Rollator is cool! Throw some lo-profile tires on that, some ground FX lights, deep candy-apple red paintjob, and yer off to the race!

That basket in the front looks like it could hold a fair sized sub woofer. :D

Nice pictures, Yvsa.

It looks like that contraption makes packing the game out a lot easier! ;)

Good for you my friend! Nothing like getting outside after being confined to the bed or couch for many days. I wish I had your willpower to lose the weight I know I need to get rid of. Sitting at this damn computer desk 9 hours a day doesn't do anything for my eyesight or my middle!

Looks like the rollator was a great investment. Please keep us posted on your continuing progress.

Regards,

Norm

You wont need that thing much longer if you keep getting better, will you?
