Okay traditional guys.. Tell me a top 5 brands to buy!!!

Depends on if you want a knife to carry and use or one to keep as an investment. Even though the quality of Case knives
can be spotty when you get a good one it is just as good as other brands costing 2 to 3 times more.

And even the "bad" ones are almost always acceptable as users.

- dare I suggest the 5 top brands for anyone to buy will be the 5 brands they enjoy the most after buying this n that, trying this, trying that.........it may take a while, but it'll be an enjoyable journey.

Perhaps a bit like drinking each of your mate's favourite bourbons - however much they say theirs is best - you'll decide for yourself and have enjoyed the journey ;)

1 Moki, it’s my favorite traditional knife brand. I’ve never received one that hasn’t been damn near perfect.
2 Buck great USA produced knife with awesome guarantee.
3 GEC if you can get one
4 Case
5 Boker made in Germany

1) Case - Buy them in person and you will never be disappointed.
2) Camillus USA - Camillus produced some of the finest US made knives for companies like Buck, Kabar and Remington up until 2007.
3) Schrade USA - Some of the best and most copied US patterns of both fixed blades and folders up until 2004.
4) Queen - Great patterns if somewhat hit and miss on blade grinds and initial sharpness. If they were good, they were really good.
5) GEC - Top quality but annoying availability. GEC is certainly allowed to sell their product the way that suits them best, but it is almost like hoping the Easter Bunny gifts you with one that you are really looking forward to.

If you want an original traditional knife, only buy a knife with the inscription: "Made in the USA".
GEC, Case.

SAK is cosmic space for itself. Buck is good. Opinel too.

Only genuine traditional knife come from U.S.A. Solingen is maybe good, but Manigao is better.
