Being from New Orleans I have to agree with Jim....
Pocorello's in Baton Rouge makes a pretty good one.
 
Yeah - around New Orleans, Central Grocery is considered the original one, but there are a bunch of places to get decent ones around N.O.

Don't know if anyone already mentioned it, but if you ever get to a place where they have the real deal, you need to order a quarter of one or a half at the most. They are about a foot in diameter.
