Okay, who scored 98's?

Thanks, John!! See, wouldn't the commander look cool like that, with the satin bevels and black flats? I can picture it now... ::sigh::

It appears that #12 and #18 are the only 98's left up for grabs.

These will most certainly be gone by tomorrow, I presume.
:) You presume correctly, sir. #18 is headed to Alabama (hey, wait a minute, that's where I live:eek:.), and #12 went while I was on hold, waiting to talk to Derek.

Edit: Never mind, Derek just called, and #18 had already been sold-they just didn't catch it.
:(

Well, gentlemen, I can finally say, "I got one", cuz I F-ING GOT ONE!! :D I have to extend my heartfelt and grateful thanks to Larry Brahms at BladeArt for making this happen. Larry asked me not to go into the specifics of the deal. Suffice it to say he is sending me black-T '98 #29.

Larry, I just wanted to say thanks, again, in public, for all you've done for me so I could have this knife. Guys, if you want to deal with a class act, generous, caring, EXTREMELY nice guy, who'll bend over backwards for you (believe me, I know), you can do NO BETTER than Larry Brahms.

Thanks again, Larry - I can never say it enough.

Chris, I'm glad that you were finally blessed by the Knife Gods @ www.bladeart.com . Actually Larry is THE God, but Vince is at least an apprentice Knife God. :p

Sincerely, Larry is one of my very best friends, and he became such a friend by first becoming my knife dealer. Larry has a heart of gold, and a personality to match. He will come through for you no matter what it takes. And his generosity is simply legendary. I cannot say enough about this incredible individual. Especially since my Strider Zombie Killer arrived from him today!!!

WOOOOHOOOOOO!!!! :D

Larry, you friggin' ROCK, buddy!

I got the 98 Commander satin finish #125. It will go nicely with my black 98 Commander model.

I have the # 104 Satin finished hand ground Commander. :D
Also congratulations to all those who got those 98 Commanders.
Warmest wishes,
Oliver

#31 Black T '98 Commander arrived. Great lock up and great sound upon
opening! Compared to my '99 Commander and 2000 Green-T Commander, slightly smoother action, nicer sound and feels heavier(subjective). No Comparison to my 2000 6 which has a much slicker action.Where have these knives been for 3 years? Incidently, while looking at my 2000 6 which arrived in March of 2000, I am amazed that it has been less than 2 years and my room is full of knives both factory Emerson's and custom tacticals with more customs on order-all from ordering one knife in 1995! TAD, Emerson, Lightfoot and others now have the keys to my house, cars and account numbers! -Dick
