one of the things that stood out for me was talking with Sal from spyderco. How many companies have the owner sitting there with all the prototype knives? I loved chatting him up as he has a ton of awesome stories. It also distracted me from spending anymore money at that damn Busse table.
Bruce Bump had these awesome little skinner knives made from CPM154 if I'm not mistaken, I really should have bought one as they are an awesome design. It was just to late into the show before I saw them and the funds had dewindled.
I too was at Bill Ruples Table five minutes after the show opened and no luck, maybe in Vegas.
