Okuden C2K in ATS-34 SOLD$75 shipped USPS
This is one of Brian's early knives, and rough on the F&F. I believe it was originally made to a drawing by a Marine acquaintance of his, and later became available with his first batch of A2 Sharp Things in October 2003, and was the basis for later batches of C2K Fighters and Utilities. Please look at the thumbnailed pics so there is no confusion about what you're buying. Not a looker(well, I think it looks really cool), but a solid knife. I used it a couple of times chopping up some limbs in the yard, but moved shortly afterward, and have had little use for larger knives since.
Since this is not a standard model or production knife, I'm going to post a bunch of measurements in case you want to compare to a knife you have.
Handles: .43" thick at the narrowest point of the contours, .9" wide at the index finger groove. .65" thick, and 1.4" wide at the palm swell.
The scales are thin black canvas micarta, and measure 5.72" from the butt to the front of the thumbrest. Actual grip length is 4.375" from bottom of the butt to the guard. Enough for a very large hand, or someone with size medium gloves like me to use two grips-choked back for chopping, or with the index finger groove for cutting.
Blade: 6.5" long flat sabre ground 1/4" ATS-34 with Paul Bos HT(same HT as the ATS-34 Striders were). 1 3/4" wide just ahead of the thumbrest. Edge bevel is ballpark .045-.050" in the straight portion of the blade, increasing to about .065" near the tip.
Overall length: 11 15/16"
The sheath is an Okuden A-7T, which can be seen here:
