Olamic detent adjustment

Honestly... you may want to go direct. Don't buy almost... ask them for exactly what you want. They don’t charge extra. They have a configuration tool on their website for the 247CF. I used that... but then contacted them for additional changes. They prefer making one offs.

I've got a lefty Busker whose detent makes you think they welded it closed...
Will be sending back to the Mother Ship for some lovin'.

No, I've been watching and there have been a couple I've come pretty close to buying a few times. I know they have finished lock sides, too, that's just something I'm particular about. I've seen some with amazing show sides then blank ti lock sides and it just bugs me. Lol. There's one ok bladehq I keep going back to look at. I may end up purchasing it soon if it doesn't sell before I get around to it. Lol
Also I have heard they will customize them. I don’t know if that means only before you buy it, or if you can have one sent in for modification?
Does anyone know ?
I have a 247 in CF/Ti that I would like even more if it was full ti, but I’m not sure how much it would cost, or if that is even something they would do.

They have an online form you can use for having them modified after you've already bought them.

Post 17 in this thread shows one that was moded. You do a form and send them photos and tell them what you want. They will give you a quote and timeline.

I've owned three 247 Wayfarers. Sold one just because I grew over its looks but all three have been perfect in terms of form and function. The two I have now ($600 & $800 pieces) both have excellent detents and flip flawlessly with very little effort. Ergos are second to none on the 247. Its a shame to hear about the detent issues some folks are running into but Olamic has great customer service. I plan on ordering an older version of the Rainmaker soon, hopefully they're still offering that style to date. It will probably be over a grand for what I want but that's exactly what I like about Olamic. Tailor made ;)

I've been looking at the Wayfarer and the options they offer is almost overwhelming. I've not noticed that it has an adjustable detent but I believe the Brown FSD Mini does.

It can be... my last order (but not today's, which was different) was... Wayfarer 247CF, S90V Wharning blade satin, Fatcarbon DM Blue, show side frame
with acid rain holes, black coated lock side frame with AR holes/blue chamfers, interior finish blue, stand-offs instead of backspacer. Pivots, thumbstud, hardware, standoffs and clip all entropic purple/blue.

See? A simple order.

Knife came out insanely good and so light you have to see to believe.
