Picked up this li'l Olamic necker in a trade.
I believe the drop-point blade is no longer offered from Olamic (maybe as a custom?) and I couldn't really find much info. about it, but I think the Damascus is layered high carbon and vanadium. OD Green G10 handle.
It's my first Damascus knife, so I have been enamored with the pattern and composition. The size is pretty compact, I would say it's akin to an ESEE Candiru or T.M. Hunt Hornet, but the deep cutaway and enlarged handle/pommel area make for a solid and comfortable fit in-hand. Perfect blade size/shape as a backup skinner.
