Olamic 247, Shiffer Field Grade Recon, Curtiss F3.

I've got my eyes on one of these. Any opinions or other suggestions? You should be able to get a general idea of what type of knife I'm looking for based on these three, although a flipper is not an absolute necessity. Look forward to hearing some thoughts.

I like Doc. Shiffer's knives, a lot. I like that particular knife a whole lot.

The Olamic 247 looks interesting. The Doc Shiffer reminds me that I wished I had kept my Spyderco Slysz Bowie. I would actually prefer the Spydie with the CTS-XHP steel. The Shiffer looks more heavy-duty than I have any use for.
The Curtiss F3 gets a lot of good press, but I'd prefer more belly to the blade. Again, I'd take the Slysz Bowie.

Olamic has been on my radar for a while, actually might be laying my hands on one soon. All I've heard is great nothing bad.

I'm blown away by my newly acquired Curtiss F3 Medium CG/ST. The best knife I've owned and it's not even close. I rank it above CRK, Hinderer, and Strider by a long shot. Yes, it's a bit more $ than those mentioned by me and not in the OP's list of options, but for the $, I can't see how it can be beat IMHO. I'm already looking at getting a large wharncliffe F3 just to have both versions. It's that amazing...
