. . . I get when I purchase a knife from a company I haven't bought from before and I immediately want to buy some more.

Buying this thing made me want a bunch more Olamic Tactical products:

I'd appreciated the wayfarer and multiple 247s I'd handled, but the Swish just kills it for me.

If you haven't tried an Olamic product, I highly recommend you give them a shot. Wow, what a great knife.

Now I just need some more of them ;)

It certainly looks different. That handle doesn't look like it'd be comfortable in extended use. Is it?

I find it very comfortable so far, but I've only had it a few days. No hot spots, though it's a bit on the narrow side, as far as handle-height goes.

The blade shape lends itself surprisingly well to cutting food with a pinch grip too. This particular version is a bit of a fingerprint magnet, though. The other one I ordered shouldn't suffer from that, though.

The Swish is really high on my very small list of knives I'm considering. More pics and thoughts as you get used to it are appreciated!

Love that knife Tyler! I remember you posting pics of that one.......I believe in one of the pics it was posed with a delicious looking sandwhich!

Congrats Greg!!!
Enjoy it brother.....it's insane cool!!

Agree the Swish is phenomenal. Even for Olamic it's buttery smooth opening and falls closed when the lock is disengaged. I have a plain Jane version and love it!

And it appears perfect for me to machine a removable wave. What is the blade length?

Great knives. I have an early Wayfarer, I think from when there were less than even 1,000 made.

I don't really carry it anymore because its too big, but it's still a great knife.

That's a great shot.

I've had the pleasure of handling one of those early Wayfarers. It's something else, but way too big for me to carry.

I've got my fingers crossed for a WE manufactured version of the Rainmaker. The Swish certainly is tempting though.

I'm excited for their upcoming Busker models:

They're itty bitty, with a 2.25" blade. Perfect!

Sorry folks, I posted a thread and then ended up tied up the entire next day.

Will do. I carried it today again, and I haven't found any reasons to think it was anything but great. There are a ton of nice touches on it, like the soft landing area by the flipper or the way every edge that you'd end up touching is chamfered a bit. The action is just about perfect on mine.

That is a great looking knife. I'm pretty sensitive to weight, much more so than size. One of the things that drew me to the Swish was the weight; it's only 4.7oz (for a fairly large knife, at a 3.88" blade). The second one I ordered is punched full of holes and only weighs 3.7oz . . .

Very cool Mr. Evilgreg. Mine shipped yesterday. Congrats!

Tell us how you like it. I love mine. :)

Thanks Joe. It's a new favorite already. IMO, looks great, feels great, doesn't have much I'd like to change. I'd prefer it didn't have the custom pivot screw (I'm not a big fan of proprietary hardware) and in a perfect world I suppose I'd be okay with it being a little lighter, but Eugene has my back on that one already (the second one I ordered is about an ounce lighter).

Yup, the action on mine is fantastic too. Great knife.

3.88"!

I agree--that's why I put my name in to get one of the first batch. I want one with the blade shape of the green one in the middle, though I suppose I should wait and see all the options before I make any plans.

I will not see mine til Monday :(
I will be out of town.
But I love the Wayfarer 247.
