Old BMs, Where Are They All?

So, I really love old SHBMs. First off, this is not a thread to contact posters to make sell offers; please don't pester people who share info here to sell their old Infi. :) Approximately how many old SHBMs are there? I know there were SHBMs, 1/6 SHBMs and 1/200 SHBMs. Are their other varieties? All of mine have vertical grooved canvas micarta with slotted bolts. I have read there are some with quilted slabs that came on the BMes. What other handles are out there?

Just thinking about all the SHBMs bought years ago, left in the bottom of a drawer, box or safe, never to see love or use again. These knives are freakin' amazing and really love to be used!

I look forward to hearing who uses theirs!
 
willic, Great thread – the SHBM is one of my favorites! I believe you meant 1/300, not 200. The earlier ones (with bolts in the handle) had smooth grips, partially-grooved grips or fully-grooved grips. I seem to remember some of the later ones with riveted handles having diagonally-grooved grips, but I'm not 100% sure (Cobalt probably knows).

I bought these new back when you could still buy them new.
And "two weeks" was about a year.
I haven't used them much, but they sure cuts well.

I think it was the last 16 out of the shop, or maybe there were only 16 at a show with diagonal grooves, but there's very few with diagonally grooved scales. I think they were all DC finish too.

Except for LE 236 which was satin
 
As for handles there was

Smooth slotted bolt
Partially grooved slooted bolt
Fully grooved slotted bolt
Fully grooved tube
Diagonally grooved tube
And
Diamond quilted tube????? Never seen one and yes I am the one that mentioned it in the other thread.
 
This is the only factory SHBM I know of that is totally bobbed with bolts from factory. So this is one of one factory SHBM.
