Here is some additional date information about the 110 Folding Hunter and the 112 Ranger:
1974 to 1980: one dot on either side of the model # (example: .110.)
1980: two dots on the right side of the model # (example: .110..)
1981 to 1986: two dots on either side of the model # (example: ..110..)

the addation of usa was so they could sell in canada
the number was so it was easly known what modle
the dots inducate engeneering changes
and indreactly were what caused a lot of folks to start collecting bucks
and once that happened then buck started useing date marks in 1986...
note worthy is that the man vern was selling memberships in a buck club that he did not have a menber ship number of his own tell he had sold like 4 already and his wife said some thign to him!
