Old Buck knife from Offshore

Here are the pic's of the old Buck 110 that a friend
gave me .This is not a very good pic'. This 110 is a 4 dot.
used very hard offshore for 20 years. A lot of ware but no rust.
I sent it in to Joe for a face lift.

JMO, looks like the blade was modified for cutting rope, maybe on purpose or maybe an improvised blade shape after the point was snapped off?

Muskrat...

I think he said he broke the tip some time ago. Not
sure what he was doing or cutting. But in the
oilfield there is no telling what happened.
