Old collection pics vs new..then and now

referring to my photos in post #5...
By quick count I've sold about 17 of the ones in the photo, and bought a lot more than that to replace them.
The only one I really miss would be the Dozier Personal, with orange scales near the top in the second photo.

It's happened to me quite a bit in the past. I'm fairly new to the blade frenzy, but I find it interesting how some models slip past and then you wish to have them again.

I'm going to guess this is at least 5 years ago. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Gotta hand it to the producers, folders look like they have come quite a way in the last 10. I'm no expert tho, only in it for the last few.

Edit to add

That is a wicked nice lineup of spidies you've posted there.

Those tantos look all buisness.

Very nice crk crk collection you have there.

Still have the ti-lock? I have been eye balling the element version since it came out and I really want to pick one up. Funds are tight atm, I'm getting married at the end of October.

I guess I'm fishing for another unnecessary nudge! Haha

Thank you!

Yes, still have the Ti-Lock...two actually...one gets carried, other sits in the box...got the second one as it was a bit of a deal on the bay...and it was a late night... lol
It is really incredible how much cutting edge there is for a knife this size...really like them...and for city edc, the lock is more than strong enough...

The Ti-Lock elemental certainly does look great, not seen one in person yet...i hope to get one too...had our local knife shop put in an order, as i hate ordering expensive knives across the border...will wait & see if it eventually shows up...

Congratulations on getting married! The Elemental will be a great one to mark the occasion!!!! :D

No thank you for the reply, you are aggravating thoughts.

Haha, it is a classy quality gentlemanish folder. I may be able to get the Mrs on board.

I can definitely relate on the border, by the time we pay shipping and customs and the exchange, we're looking at an expensive piece of metal.

Knives are better than wives. They won't cheat on you, if you cheat on them they won't hold it against you. They won't spend your money, and any money you spend on them makes you happy.

They also don't mind if you trade them for a better one.

You need to send that Pelican to me so I can verify it can handle the weight......I am certified in Pelican weight retention technology, and specialized in "when loaded with CRK's"

@marcus52AR - The Elemental is one where even my Mrs is on board! She already asked a couple times when it will get here..lol...

If you are in the Toronto area and want to check out a Ti-Lock in person, let me know!

Thank you very much for the offer, unfortunately I don't get out to Toronto very often. I've only been once and it was about 10 years ago.

P.s JR is one of the best when it comes to verification.

Awesome collection of some awesome knives man, I would love to see them all laid out.

(I am also a certified CRK mechanic, just send them to me and I will replace each and every spark plug...)

Haha I don't think anyone would part ways with a box of sebenza's that easily!

I do still have a crk, a LG micarta insingo.

Yeah, uh, I've got a large collection of knives, watches, and firearms. Can you come over and make sure my 1959 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud can handle the weight. I also need to to know the best way to load it all in...

This is actually the very first picture I loaded on to photobucket. The insingo and the smf are long gone. I still have the xm.

Three brands I have never owned. Always wanted to try a Hinderer, just couldn't bring myself to drop that kind of money on one.

Hinderer makes a great knife. Inexpensive compared to what they were just 1-2 years ago.

Chris reeve.. just do it!

I didn't catch on to the strider design.

I wish I hadn't sold my Strider or Sebenza. Didn't really give the Sebenza a chance to break in, sold the Strider to pay for a flight to Texas.
