One of the first knives I purchased for EDC (before I knew what that meant) was the SS serrated Delica. The SS handles had shown some wear over the years. Instead of sanding them to look something like when I purchased it, I used a 1/2" felt bob, with valve grinding compound, in the drill press. Ran the press at a slow speed and came down on the handle surface of the knife until a swirl appeared on the stainless. Used to do this at work to freshen up SS machine parts.

Nice mod:thumbup: The swirls look pretty cool. Could you post a pic of the bit setup in the drill press?

Thanks,
Jon

Definitely:thumbup: Thanks for posting the pics, and for sharing a unique way to dress up an old knife.
