Old Hickory butcher knives wood handle ?

I'm working on cleaning it up more as we speak. If it is better I'll post an updated pic

I'm thinking Forgecraft, but I don't know if they produced any with half tangs.
Maybe a made in Japan copy.
We need a picture of the whole knife, as rivets and wood type can be identifiers.

Are any of y'alls OH knives have a half tang? Or are they all full tang? Doubt I'll get a reply 6 years after the last comment on this post lol
I bought an OH paring knife and a carving knife back in 1977. Lost the carving knife in 1997, when we moved and found the paring knife awhile ago. The paring knife is a half tang, but I think(?) the carving knife had a full tang.

Yellow strait grain hardwood with brass pressure rivets

All I got at the moment since it has a new handle material and 3/16 brass pins unglued.

I guess it's a good thing you dug this six year old thread up so I could post in it then?

I asked a question that I have been looking for an answer for 2 weeks since I found the knife and researched old hickory.

You responded to someone that has been waiting 6 years for someone to reply back to them....

But you are correct, I did raise this post from the dead lol.

I was referring to butcher knives, but the specifics got left out by mistake.

I'm honestly thinking about buying the matching butcher block set here soon after all the research I've done, I'm sold lol

For "cheapish" kitchen knives, I seem to remember they were fine. Unfortunately they are somewhat hard to come by up here, as I'd buy some.
