Old Hickory vs Green River

I haven't used either of these knives but I heard they are both definitely worth the money. I want to know which one is better? Thanks!

The first time I tried to baton with a green river knife, the blade shattered on the 2nd hit with a 2" diameter log. Unfortunately, I have several green river knives, but they will only be used as slicers in the future.

I have a set of Old Hickory kitchen knives that I like, once I put edges on them. they came literally butter knife sharp out of box.
