How's the leather holding up? I know stacked washers will do just fine, but I've never used sheet.

They seem to be doing just fine. Almost all of my kitchen knives have superglue finishes, and they get reconstituted regularly.

I "boned" or compressed the leather while applying it, so it is quite hard and dense.
