old knife no info online

I have a old knife and cant find anything about it. The knife is a multi purpose knife looks to be very old. The case appears to be ivory. The blade is stamped "ALLEN STRAND". Can anyone tell me anything about this? I have looked everywhere and asked whoever i could. There is a strange triangular pointy tool in it also that i have never seen before.

Just for the hell of it, and not having seen the knife, I'd wager the triangular pointy tool is a "bleeder" for bleeding livestock.
 
That makes sense. Does anyone know of the name on it. I will try to figure out how to post a pic today of it.
