Old knife

Hey all, I'm new at this, so I hope somebody gets this. I have a knife that appears to be really really old.I've researched it a million times and still nothing. Total length is 12&3/4", blade is 8", has a hickory handle held on with just 3 pins, the letter Z stamped on the tang and overall is in great condition for its believed to be 150+yr old knife. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated.

Chances are there is someone with the knowledge you're after, but a couple of clear photos would make it much easier. Photos can be linked after you upload them to a site like photobucket or imgur :)
