That stockman is to die for! Great carry for the gentleman farmer.

Thanks Duncan, Jack reckons it was made for the Australian market.

Interesting that is is stamped England if it was made for the Australian market.

Seeing all of these old Schrade knives reminds me of the only one in my collection. I may have posted it here before, so forgive the repetition if I have.

Been a while since I've posted here which got me thinkin that perhaps I should start including the Schatt & Morgan knives after the company moved to Pennsylvania.
Best information I can find is that by 1931 S&M closed it's doors. So these pocketknives might not be 100 yrs old yet. After all the is the "old knives" thread. ;) The T-ville knives still have another 6 or 7 yrs to go and who knows I might not have the time to wait!!
Before I move on to the not so old knives I have one more from Gowanda N.Y. 1896 - 1902
A 3 1/4" closed jack with Cocobolo covers, pretty much a "boys" knife size....

Gowanda!!! Neat old knife, Dave!! Looks good on a bed o' beads!!

Great knife posted in the last few days while I was away, nice finds everyone!

Traded for this Baldwin Cutlery Co. New Orleans this weekend, probably 1900 to 1930, pretty sure they did not make knives but had knives made for them. Scarce smaller Washington Jack at 3 1/4", still has a blade etch, pretty sure it states I Cut Keen/I Cut Keen.
It also has flush and square joints which are not that common.

would this be considered a "threaded bolster"?
