Looking forward to seeing your collection, Mike.Hello everyone! I'm new to BF and I'm absolutely stunned by the quality of knives you guys have in your collections! I'm also very exited to show you my humble collection.
May I ask, if I misspeak on something, please feel free to give me a free education. Free ones are the best!
Mike

Here are the 4 I have, 3 are Catt’s and the top left is marked American Cutlery Assoc. 2 Those are dandys, especially your 2 single blades. Thanks for sharing the American Cutlery Assoc. The match strike pull dropping on swedge is very eye catching.

That's a neat old "Elephant Toe, Mike!!Here is the first knife I bought when I started buying knives to collect. Union Razor Co, Tidioute Pa. I know it’s beat up and used with cracks in the bone but it’s a knife I’ll cherish always. I was at an auction in Greene NY with a lady I was dating, and eventually married, trying to buy some old knives that were in the auction. I lost the auction on it. It sold for 50! The lady said I should offer the high bidder 55 and I did and he sold it to me. Had it ever since!View attachment 2587265View attachment 2587266View attachment 2587267
Bernie Levine says it's true!! Union Razor-1902, became Union Cutlery 1909, and moved to Olean, NY, 1911They might be the same company!! Union Razor, and Union Cutlery!!
