That's a beauty, Paul. Great choice for your first image!

Real nice I like that knife alot
? What are you guys and gals using on
Your collection to store them
Oil what kind
Wax etc. ?

Jan

I use tuf-glide and quality knife rolls for long time storage. Then I take em out every once in a while and redo them (and look at em and stuff). ;)

The tuf-glide seems to work well. Makes the steel look a little filmy, but it is supposed to I think.

Thanks for the compliments. Jan - I use mineral oil, lightly on the bone and then RenWax.
Here is another Schrade Cut Co not as old as the first one.

one more Schrade for tonight. Schrade Walden 730, still has the factory edge and glaze finish on the blades.

Paul, that 2203 is a beautiful knife! Might be one of the older peachseed examples. A real treasure! Glad to see it hasn't been polished to death!!
Great 730 also!!
More Schrades?

Thanks Charlie! I feel very lucky to have that 2203. Probably getting to the last of my older Schrades. I've got older Walden area examples I will try and post tomorrow once I dig out the pics.

Thanks again everyone. I'm more than happy to contribute to this wonderful thread.
Here is something else from the Walden, NY area.
Walden Knife Co Eureka Jack, It is a solid 3 3/4" long a bit bigger than most you see around 3 1/2". I love the bolster and shield.

here it is open blades are pretty full but has fallen victim to the dreaded steel mites

A selection of remarkable and unusual knives Paul M! The Farmer's Jack is deeply impressive.
Hidden treasures that we are lucky to be able to see, many thanks.
