"Old Knives"

About as fine as you can get!! Walden Knife Co....wow ^^^^^^

Just looked at the last page. Your collection is so impressive and extensive its hard for people to find the words. I will be watching and enjoying whatever you post!!:D

Great bone on all four of those knives. Really like that bareheaded Walden.

That classic wormgrove bone on that old Cattaraugus is so perfect and iconic. I see why your would never let her go!! The Western states is one of the best examples I have ever seen! Really cool etch! Right out of the factory. I am enjoying the show:D

All 6 are exceptional, tongueriver!
The blade on the Catt, beautiful... the Walden's looks perfect as a bare head, the condition of the Western States, WOW.... the Ulster's curves, so appealing and all 6 with exquisite bone.
Thanks for showing them tongueriver.:)

I like your taste in old bone-handled knives, tr!

Love the phatness of the sheepsfoot on the Schrade Cut! And the swedge-ing is fantastic. Is it bigger than 3.5 inches closed?

I could look at old knives all night, especially with bone as fine as these. While all are beauties, the Catt and Schrade just want to make you reach through the screen and grab them.

Beautiful knives on here. Is it weird that I would rather have an old used knife than a new one? Lol. Anyways... Had a wedding this weekend and on the way I passed an old bait and tackle shop. I couldn't resist and stopped. I ended up finding some really nice uncle henry schrades. The owner said they were dropped off from the local thrift store, so they didn't come with packaging or anything. I know these are pre2004 because they are USA made, but couldn't really figure out what year they are, any help would be greatly appreciated! They are almost in mint condition, blades are perfect , build is superb. Super excited to introduce these into the world again.
