This is an immediate catch & release for me! I received this PM2 in a package deal on some CPKs (Carother Performance Knives) to help out a fellow CPK brethren. My understanding is that this version is now discontinued with perhaps some collectors' value, so if this iteration is missing from your collection please have at this one, after CAREFULLY reading my entire listing:
The Terms of Sale:
1- I go to great lengths to describe and take accurate photos so unless you receive something vastly different from what is presented (both in description and photos), I am stipulating a no-return policy. Please DO NOT chat in this sales thread which is only intended for staking a claim and asking questions. Please ask questions if unsure before claiming!
2- Must be at least 18 years or older and must know your own State, City and Local laws with regards to purchase, transportation and handling of knives.
3- "I will take it" on here takes priority as far as time stamp goes, then followed by "start a conversation" aka the PM routine. I will ask for your PayPal email address to invoice you, as I prefer this as opposed to you just sending me PP funds.
4- Generally speaking a claim post in here then followed by a PM gets it BUT it will be at my sole discretion as to whom I do business with. I may refrain from selling to anyone for any reason. I prefer to do business with well-established paid members. I don't hold onto my offerings for hours on end and if the transaction is not completed and funded within a timely manner of an hour or so, I will then move onto the next option.
5- I will ship with USPS Priority Mail and signature requirement. I will not be held responsible in case you will need to visit your local USPS to collect the package, because no one was at the address to accept delivery and then the package gets retuned to sender!

Like said, a catch & release fro me. I received it from its second owner who just put it in his safe since 2019. I also know the original owner through our CPK group and my understand is that this was also his back-up REX 45 PM2 originally purchased in 2018.
The condition is described as LNIB with all the original box and contents but please understand that this PM2 has been handled, admired, gawked at plus me taking the following photos. The smudge marks are from oil residue which I try to wipe down prior to shipping. I have not pocketed it, cut with it and I know that the 2nd owner who sent this to me, also did not cut with it (even paper) or pocketed it. The clip has the original orientation without ever been reversed.
The compression lock and the action are tight and still somewhat stiff, the blade is NOT free dropping as it needs some nudge and encouragement. The blade seems to me to be favoring the left side by just a hair (as you look at the centering photos) but it is hard to see from these pics. Those of you Spyderco mavericks who are experienced with unused PM2s, ought to be able to "tune" her up nicely.
