I've got an old marbles ideal knife that I'm putting a new handle on. I would like to keep it as original looking as possible. But I can't pommel that looks even close. Does anyone know where I could get one or will I just have to try and make one?

Welcome to the BF.

A photo would be extremely useful. ( as would a completed profile)

You probably can make a pommel to match using a pommel blank from one of the knife supply catalogs.

I always liked the woodcraft blade, but the ideal has the same pommel... :)

Aluminum, drilled for the tang, with some type of nut holding the assembly together. I couldn't find an image showing the end, but I've owned a few knives made the same way, never took one of them apart to see the exact setup... Some had stag pommels of the same shape.

You'll have to make that one out of a block of aluminum. Countersink the rear for the pommel nut.
