The knife is new, It's this mountain man that is old.
Please note the pewter pour on the right side of the knife did not come out perfect. Thus the price for this one.

Forged from 1/4 inch 5160
Flat grind
Machine finished blade with some forge marks
Curly maple handle with poured pewter bolster and pin
Overall length: 9 3/4 inches
Blade: 3/4 inches
Rawhide sheath with oil tanned liner. Rawhide lacing

Gerry you aren't "old", you're just maturing well. Great job on the knife and sheath. Those period looking sheaths are super and that style of pewter pour is tough!

What a nice knife ! and sheath too. I really like this one and i'm old and i live in the mountains and i have no money. But i can still look & like.

Hi Gerry,I don't think I would use 'ripe':rolleyes:and that kind of knife is not supposed to be perfect,I think it looks great ,and youre getting good on that style sheath:thumbup:
