Selling a Carothers Light Chopper made from Nathan's optimized heat treated CPM-4V and Terotuff handle scales with the original factory BB (Buy Brown by David Brown) kydex sheath with drop loop attachment. The price is below cost and pegged firmly at $550 $old (you will rarely see Nathan's work selling below cost albeit if lightly used) inclusive of PayPal fees (G&S only, no price discount for F/F nonsense so please don't even ask!). The price is also inclusive of Domestic Priority Mail shipping for an insured package requiring signature on delivery. No international shipping, my apologies to our Intl. friends.
The LC-4V was sold in very limited numbers (maybe 20 units originally by Nathan here on Blade Forums, if even that many) as opposed to the much larger run of the LCs made in Nathan's optimized heat treated CPM-3v aka D3V. The LC-4V shares it DNA with Nathan's vaunted Competition Chopper made from V4E. There are differences between LC-4V and the LC-D3V so if unfamiliar, please read Nathan's OP very carefully before claiming this limited edition pattern! FWIW, Nathan has stated that this is the version of the LC which he has personally chosen to keep for himself.

This LC-4V is being sold as USED (light usage only!)since it was only used once to prune a rhododendron, but it is still in great condition despite showing the use marks on the blade as clearly shown in the photos (photos are also part of the description!). This LC still push cuts and draw cuts copy paper with ease without grabbing or snagging. The edge is original and never honed or stropped. No need to:
Strict terms of sale:
1- Must be 18 years or over and must know your own State's, City's and Local laws with regards to purchase, transportation and handling of knives.
2- NO TRADES / No Offers please. Domestic shipping only!
3- "I will take it" on here takes priority as far as time stamp goes, then followed by "start a conversation" which is the old PM routine. I will ask for your PayPal email address to invoice you, as I prefer this as opposed to you just sending me PP funds.
4- My decision as to whom I do business with is final. I don't hold onto my offerings for days on end and if the transaction is not completed and funded within a timely manner, I will move onto other prospective buyers, if any. I also reserve the right to terminate the listing at any time of my choosing.
5- Any deal is truly a done deal when both parties are completely satisfied based on my thorough and honest description. You may contact me within 24 hours of confirmed receipt if unsatisfied (I was on vacation or any other delayed stories will not cut it. STRICTLY 24 hours from confirmed receipt!!!) but I will NOT accept any returns if the knife has been used, abused, dismantled or simply due to buyer's remorse (in case of any returns for whatever reason, buyer is responsible for fully insured return shipping fees in the same way it was received).
6- I will ship out with insurance for the full transaction value AND I do require signature upon delivery. I will not be held responsible in the case that you may need to visit your local USPS to collect the package because no one was at the address to accept delivery because of the point of delivery terms!
Thank you.
