Old Plumb Axe

My grandfather has an old Plumb axe in his garage. It seems like a medium sized head with about a 27 inch handle. Are these any good? Is it worth de-rusting and sharpening, or should I just forget about it?

I would think that becuase it was your grandfather's would automatically make ti worth de-rusting and using. Nostaligia is nice in tools that you can use.

Plumb are very sevicible tools, especially the older ones, good steel built to last forever,
