• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

i bought a Plumb hatchet/camp axe in '05 at an estate auction for $3. its showing some age, but overall its 14" and has a 3 1/4" cutting surface. unfortunately the leather sheath was to far gone to be usable.:grumpy: with my Spyderco ceramic stones this thing got real sharp instantly, so now i ask....are they desirable? its kinda head heavy(sorry for the terminology) but usable, should i be using it? i cant find much info on them, so here i am. LOL...thanks, Woody

ok folks, i think i answered my own question... i went to e-bay (duh) and found a couple that were IDENTICAL, but they were boyscouts editions and they werent going for a premium, so im pretty sure i ll be using this one. its been put up, cuz i thought i had a collectible hatchet:o. now i gotta find the sheath for it.

if it says boy scout on it, id put it up and let the value rise. if its just a regular ole production piece, use the heck out of it.
