Hi All,

Got this finished a day ahead of time so here it is. Made from Aldo’s 3/16ths 1084 and hardened and triple tempered to a Rockwell 60. Hair shaving sharp with a mirror finish on the blade. The rest of the knife is brought to a very high satin finish.

8.5 inches overall, 4 inches of blade in front of the bolsters. Hollow ground on a 10 inch wheel. Brazilian Rose wood scales with red spacers and 6 1/8th inch brass pins to compleat it. Very comfortable in the hand should not raise any hot spots when used around camp or in the bush.

Price $135.00 shipped to the lower 48. I will make you a very nice Kydex belt sheath for an additional $20.00. Otherwise it will be shipped sheathless.

Specifics:
Steel: 3/16ths 1084 blade and bolsters. Blade to a Rockwell 60
Length: 8.5 inches
Height of blade at its widest point: 1 5/16ths
Grind: hollow on a 10 inch wheel
Height of handle: 1 inch
Handle width at the bolsters is 1/2 inch flairs to a touch over 5/8ths in the center.
Handle material: Brazilian Rose wood with red fiber spacers.
Pin material: 1/8th inch brass.

Price $135.00 shipped to the lower 48

Comments always welcome. Ken

Thanks for looking, Ken

Very nicely made Ken. The bolsters look great against the richly textured scales and the deeply ground blade.

I've been looking at custom knives here for the past couple weeks, and this one by far has been my fave! Just wish I could afford it, unfortunately I was laid off a few weeks ago though.

Hi arkra

Thanks, I actually got into this when I was laid off years ago. Got tired of working for large corporations whose only criteria was the bottom line. I don't make as much money but there is a lot more satisfaction. The knives I make will out live me lets me leave something behind.

Ken
