With all the new O2W blades and excitement around here in general, I thought this would be a great time to start a thread showing off some olde school Busse blades. Post any old Busse blade pics ya got! Just got this minty original Mean Street in trade and absolutely love it! Also any way to tell if it's Infi or A2? Thanks! -CNC-

 
Nice blade! I am pretty sure all of the old MS knives were A2...I think. But, that said, simply talking about INFI vs A2 and how do you tell, I am aware of two ways. First, INFI has dimples (under the coating), A2 does not. Second, and this may only be an urban legend or maybe I have it wrong altogether, but IIRC, INFI cannot be cold-blued while A2 can. That's again my understanding of it. Personally, I would not care if something was A2 or INFI. I know I am not everyone of course, but I think you have one of Busse's best right there in your hand, A2 notwithstanding.

Most of these I dont have anymore :( But I was able to enjoy having them.

Hopefully I will be lucky enough to add to the collection in the future. Some cool stuff out there. I love the HOoD mistress. I would love to know the story on that one. It may be known just as HOOD knife. I'll check after peewee football today. See if I can find a pic. Coolest knife I've seen yet.
