If there is one thing better than an old school Busse knife, it's an old school Busse knife that gets used.

OK guys I am sold. What is it going to take to the Bossman to release some of these classics? Yes its good to get new designs and new styles. I got to say though some of those knives you all have been displaying are seriously nice. I guess its like the classic cars. You cant beat the lines that had in design back in the day. Now everything is all about practicality and ease of use. I enjoy the beauty of the work as well as the feel of the steel.
 
This thread ROCKS! I believe resinguy is on the right track I have seen a few other Hacks with no talon hole and paracord wraps from way back when.

yes, and it was likely 5160 as well. Apprentice blades were typically not INFI or even A2, but I could be wrong

I checked my records and found that I got that knife from Progunner when he was here. For what it's worth, he listed it as A2.

Scam? Yeah... :D No I paid a pretty penny on it. Overall deal was not bad, was a porkin' Piglet, snagged all 3 knives & sheath in that pic from Porkgunner. :)

You remember the run? (I don't, wasn't here, John told me) #'s 1,2,3 with this logo, the rest & forward with the tip forward SH-e logo.

Yes, I do remember it. I was kinda put off by the e handles when they first came out. I warmed up to them within a year. I have #7 and it has the std logo
 
I can't even tell y'all how happy this makes me! I swear this thread gets better and better everytime I open it! I just wiped all the drool out of my beard after staring at those smooth bolt Steel Hearts ..... Wow guys keep the pics coming! Beautiful E handled blades as well, I'm hoping to be lucky enough to own a NOE one day :D
