Old School Laconico's (and new)

I REALLY like Ray's work... it's very very clean, and just looks like it wants to cut stuff.

Great thread :)

I really love Ray's work...

Here's my 'old school' Laconico...

(BTW... what the heck has happened to photobucket?!?!? The layout and design is a pain in the butt to try and access anymore...)

I have bought four of Ray's knifes. One for me, and three gifts :-)
All are fantastic.

The first one is my carry-while-hunting knife. It's one of his best styles I think, a "Baby Bowie". Bad snapshot, the knife is wonderful.

Number two is one of his "cricket" knifes. His picture, that's wht it's a good photo... A great skinning/gutting knife, and gone as a gift. I am planning to see if I can get one made for me this time.

Number three is a coffin handled Bowie. Another wonderful blade. From order to arrival (in time for the wife's Birthday gift giving, thanks Ray), one month.

Number four (with out a picture) is a seax he made. A fast fighter/general camp use knife that is one of the best looking knifes he has made, I think. Do you have a photo Ray?

Wish I had the ability to post pictures!!! Ray is my favorite custom maker - I was fortunate enough to discover him in the sales forums and have been pursuing his knives ever since. I don't have as many as I would like - 8 - but really really enjoy those that I have been lucky enough to obtain. Ray - I have said it before - thanks for a wonderful product - I really do feel priviledged to own your knives.
