I've been on the fence about selling this blade, but I have to stick with my original plan.


This SHSH2 is a rare knife with slotted bolts and partial grooved micarta. This is a user - smooth coating shows wear.

I recently picked this up thinking it might take over for my FSH as my primary user, but I decided to go another route. Comes as shown with factory kydex sheath.

to be honest you won't notice a difference , I have this same knife, it's my favorite user , holds an edge like no other and feels amazing , I was curious if mine was INFI or a2 but after how good it performs I couldn't care less

Hi gusbuster,

This knife appears to have been sharpened to a very slicey v by one of the previous owners.

As far as whether this is INFI steel or not, I'm not certain. I recall from my much earlier searches for this knife thinking that this style IS. However, this iteration of SH2 is at the transition where the style before was A2 and the style after was definitely INFI. That said, I recently read a review by a member that stated his was made from A2 (don't know if he was right or not either). Only way to sort this out might be a trip to the spa for testing (and if I were to do it, a doublecut).

I wish I had more information, but like mikeynyc mentioned, with Busse's heat treat, their A2 is absolutely no slouch either.
