I got this when I was a kid and I've been using it ever since.
Sure it's dished on both sides, but it still touches my slipjoints up just fine.

I'll do you one better. Here's a replica of an old Viking whetstone. Apparently Ragnar and his fellows used stones just like these to keep their edges leg-biting sharp.
