Forged from a farriers rasp
I heat treated this as 1095 and tested it with some wood chopping and arm hair shaving. I am satisfied the results
Hollow grind with a mat finish
Stabilize figured maple handle
Overall length: 10 1/2 inches with 6 inch blade
Leather scabbard laced with rawhide and has a large belt loop large enough to fit most gun belts

Wow GL. Best looking rasp knife I've ever seen! Great lines and execution. With hollow grind how is it performing making shavings, curls, etc? Also, is there a welt in the sheath?

Yes, there is a welt in the sheath. The secondary grind is an apple seed shape and does slice very well.
